Georgi Parlapanov
Active athlete in alpine and Nordic skiing in the Bansko team in the 80-ies with many achievements in national ski championships. He is winner of the Pirin Cup. As a veteran he wins golden medals in cross country in three consecutive championships and in 2012 he takes the first place in the alpine competition.


Reared with love for the mountain and showing prominent disposition for ski sports, his two sons Ivan and Yani, take the road their father has traced out. Both sons finish the Bansko Ski Club School. As active athletes, they reached enviable achievements. Ivan won the second and third place in the national championships in 2015 and 2013, second and third place in international competitions in 2016 and 2009. He practices free and extreme style.



From 2005 to 2015 Yani was a member of the national team for alpine skiing. In three consecutive years he was the winner of the Nadezhda Cup. From his participation in international competitions he has the following classifications – 6th in the Pokka Loka race in Slovenia, 12th for the Topolino Cup in Italy, 24th in the Winter Olympic Games for children in Poland.

The ski and snow board school was conceived and set up as a family business in 2009 and it follows the best traditions in the ski sport development in Bansko. It was founded by Georgi Parlapanov, an active competitor in alpine skiing and running in the Bansko team in the 80-ies with many achievements in national ski championships. He is winner of the Pirin Cup. As a veteran he wins golden medals in ski running in three consecutive championships and in 2012 he takes the first place in the alpine competition. His entire personal and professional life is connected with the mountain. He works as a ski teacher and mountain guide.

For eight years, Snow Peaks has been enjoying a high popularity and it is one of the schools, Bulgarian and foreign visitors of the resort would always prefer. Today the ski and snowboard storage is provided with modern equipment, which is renewed every year and the ski school has a selected team of experienced instructors.
